Travel Hacks: 5 Essential Things Every Traveler Should Carry While Travelling In India

To be quite honest we pack a lot of stuff before we travel and then when we arrive at the destination we miss out on plenty of things. I have been traveling alone for quite some time now and made the same mistake couple of times myself. So far I have decided to provide you with 5 travel hacks which are essential for Indian as well as Foreign travelers traveling across India.

Nowadays most of the travelers carry a lot of electronic gadgets with them including cameras, Mobile or cell phones and perhaps many other things as well. Here are the top 5 tips or hacks that will help any traveler who are travelling across the Country.

1. MULTI PLUG TRAVEL ADOPTER OR 3 PIN PLUGS

I will keep the multi-plug on top of all the other things believe it or not I have faced this problem many times. Many hotels which you book have a single power socket, and if you are traveling with a group or even alone, you have more than one items to charge. So a multi-plug travel adopter definitely comes in handy in which you can charge more than one electronic gadget. These travel adopters comes in different shapes and sizes and thus carrying them isn't that hard either

There is a solution for those who are on a tight budget as well if you have faced the similar problem then next time when you travel try to carry a three pin plug with you. A 3 pin plug is small, handy and cheap. Just take it inside your bag when you travel and use it when you need it to charge multiple items.

2. POWERBANKS

Powerbanks nowadays are a necessary item for everyone, just plug in your electronic gadgets and charge them on the go. There are still many remote places across India where they rely on solar power, and quite honestly they are not sufficient enough to charge some energy consuming electronic goods like big battery phones. So do not forget to carry a powerbank with you next time.

3. OFFLINE GOOGLE MAPS

The next thing on our list definitely won't cost you a penny except for your Mobile data. Google Maps have helped travelers since technology was made accessible to everyone. The best thing about the offline Google maps is that you can download them quickly on your phone before you leave for your destination and can use it even when there are no Internet connections.

Thus next time when you are on the road alone just download the map before you leave your home and never get lost. All you need to do is just download the map and access it anytime you need. But if you are not a tech savvy then I am afraid you will have to depend on plain old paper map.s.

4. CAR CHARGER

Although this equipment might seem unnecessary for many while they travel without their car a small car charger actually might come in handy. If you go somewhere by a vehicle for a long distance, you can carry a little car charger along with you which can be used to charge your electronic gadget or mobile phones while you rent a car to reach your destination. Trust me it has worked for me many times and the best thing about the portable car charger is that they are small and handy and does not burn a hole in your pocket either.

This small but useful device comes in handy if you are traveling to some remote areas where you might not get fresh drinking water just use the straw and drink it from anywhere you want including streams.

I have used this thing couple of times as well, and the lifestraw can purify upto 1000 liters of water efficiently. Once you buy it, I am sure it can last and provide drinking water supply for the user for a year.
